I just put my first two applications in the mail. I had to send them overnight because one of my recommenders was a wee bit dilatory in her recommending, but now they are in. The. Mail. Goodbye, UC Davis. Goodbye, UC Irvine. Godspeed.

I feel fucking great.

I still have more work ahead of me--ten more applications to assemble, a few things to write for them, but from here on out it should be cake. I have everything I need and can just push through them.

First Pilates, then beer. Wait, no, first rock anthems. That's right, I have a playlist entitled "anthems." I am going to rock out with my cock out.

Ooh, Kids in America, yes! I have to add that...let's see, a sampling: a buttload of Flogging Molly, the Who's "Baba O'Rilley," some GNR ("Welcome to the Jungle" etc.), the obvious Queen, a bunch of Pogues stuff, David Bowie's "Heroes," and any song I can find that seems to be about breaking shit.
