The vanity of geek grrrls

Everyone knows I like both pirates and porn.
These two interests have had a chance to fuse recently in a bit of pornography I wrote about an old Exalted character of mine who is essentially like my most beloved imaginary friend of all time. I won't go into the details (since trying to explain a really great role playing game to someone who wasn't there is a little like trying to explain a really interesting but non-plot-driven dream to someone), but the wonderfully talented
goselam illustrated with the following piece of cheesecake. This is so fucking cool.

Some of you who have gamed with me (okay, there are three people on this list who have) will remember that getting my character drawn is like the most exciting thing that can happen to me. Call it gamer girl vanity if you must. Or maybe it's just the excitement of having such a visual mode of storytelling actually get a, well, a visual. Whatever the case may be, I spent the whole day skipping around at work feeling like I had gotten a present.
The coolest thing about the picture is that
goselam really got her face down pat (in spite of him being self-effacing about it). Here is one of drawgirl's original Rischa pictures:

Very cool to see the style so different, but the character the same. I know comic book artists do this all the time but I can still marvel at it because my version of the Captain is a stick figure with a plumed hat.
Thanks much,
goselam, and also
drawgirl for illustrating my dear zenith.
