i knew graduate school would be like this.

A half dozen MFA students with a sudden surplus of spare time equals what? Birthday tribute videos, that's what!

One thing I love about Kyle--the birthday boy--is that he's one of few people I know who can have an absolutely unironic love of the movie Sister Act. Him and my grandma, actually.

Holy man. That was funny. I laughed out loud in an empty room and was sad there was no one here to say "come watch this hilariousness" to kind of funny. seriously. i wish i was there hanging out watching it be made funny.

When you're all famous novelists this little ditty is going to come back to haunt you :)

p.s. Library graduate school was significantly less exciting than your MFA experience. How do I get me one of these gigs?

Yeah, at least one of these people is going to win something important--an Obie, an Oscar, or a Pulitzer. I plan to console myself by disseminating this little gem as far and as wide as possible.

Just awesome; the MFA crowd on the loose. However, I have to ask: You used the plural for videos, yes?
